Sources of Water

Here is the Mind Map that I would like to share in class for a 1st grade class. It is about the different water sources. I made it simple so that the students can read and see what they are. There are many types of water sources that I want the students to understand. I also want them to know what types are man mad and what types are natural.

Common Core Standard 2  for science 1st grade:Earth and Space Science. Students will gain an understanding of Earth and Space Science through the study of earth materials, celestial movement, and weather. Objective 1:  Investigate the natural world including rock, soil and water.
Education technology Standard 5:Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.
